You can't just fold up your temptation in a drawer; you'll keep peeking. You can't lock it in a box, because you know where the key is. You can't bury it. You know where you dug the hole. You can't open the door, close your eyes, and kick it out into the yard, because you will be out there in 2 days looking for it until you find it. You have to go to a friend that's closer than a sibling, admit that you have the temptation, show it to them so they can see how ugly and addictive it is, and admit that you have tried every way the internet forums showed you to dispose of it or hide it and you have Macgyver-ed it back into your life every time and posted replies of how you did it and now you need help because you can't do it on your own, so you are humbly begging them to drop it into a volcano like the Ring of Power and hold you back (even if you bite their finger off) until it is completely dissolved. And you will thank them and make brownies for them later because of how awesome they are.
